    Worried about your Balance?

    HealthPoint Can Help.

HealthPoint is pleased to announce a new balance testing and training service available in March.  Through the generosity of the Maxine Lohr Trust, HealthPoint was able to acquire a Computerized Dynamic Posturography (CDP) device.

By using CDP, trained specialists can determine how your different senses work together to control your balance, what’s working well and what might be causing you some unsteadiness.

With this information, your physical therapy can be fine-tuned to help you improve specific aspects of your balance and steadiness, reducing your risk of stumbling or falling.

The testing is easy and painless.  If you are interested in having your balance tested, call the Rehab department at HealthPoint at 330-202-3300.
Click here to read more and take the balance self test.

Who Is at Risk?

Sometimes when you want it the least, your body needs it the most.  When you feel tired, worn out and stressed out, the last thing you feel like doing is driving down to your health club for an intense workout.  The fact is, this is exactly what you should do.
