    Pediatric/School Based
Our Physical Therapy staff works with infants through school-aged children to improve motor development, balance and coordination skills, gait training, joint range of motion and activities of daily living. Our goal is to help each child develop to his or her potential and become functionally independent. Parents are encouraged to participate in therapy sessions and suggestions are given for follow-through at home. The department works with school officials to provide services to children identified as needing special rehabilitation programs as required by Public Law 94-142.

    Wound Care

Treatment of wounds which require special attention, is addressed through sterilized medicated whirlpools to expedite the body's natural healing process. In addition, specialized equipment such as the pulsavac allows us to address diabetic ulcers, decubitus ulcers and difficult or resistant to reach wounds.

    Neurological Conditions

Who Is at Risk?

Sometimes when you want it the least, your body needs it the most.  When you feel tired, worn out and stressed out, the last thing you feel like doing is driving down to your health club for an intense workout.  The fact is, this is exactly what you should do. 1
