Wooster Community Hospital is a 150-bed full-service acute care hospital. The hospital offers a complete range of inpatient and outpatient services including, CT Scan, MRI, PET / CT Scan, Wound Healing Center, Progressive Care Unit, Home Health Care Services, Ambulatory Care Center and , Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory.

The Hospital has more than 600 full time employees and there are more than 100 physicians on the active medical staff, covering most medical specialties.

Wooster Community Hospital is fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, is one of the lowest cost hospital providers in the State of Ohio, and has recently been recognized for quality care by local insurers and the 'Consumers Guide To Healthcare'. The hospital has served Wooster and its surrounding service area for more than fifty years, and it is currently in the process of a multi-million dollar expansion project - its fourth such project in the last eight years.
