Babysitting classes at Wooster Community Hospital offer a childcare curriculum taught by healthcare professionals. Our program is designed for adolescents who are at least 12 years old.

Classes are held 5:30-8:30PM in the North Hospital Auditorium.

FEE: $35.00.

Registration is required.

Through discussion and practice, students learn a wide variety of topics, including:

  • Childcare Techniques
  • Preventing Injury
  • Calling for Emergency
  • Behavioral Techniques
  • CPR Techniques
  • Recognizing Emergencies
  • Basic First Aid
  • Good Nutrition Issues
   
       
  1 The nutritional counseling program includes evaluations with a licensed dietitian; classes designed for children and adults.  
     
  1 Massotherapy and infant communication classes are also offered in our specialized programming.

  arrow   Each session is a series of three classes - all three must be attended to gain a certificate of completion. The cost of the class is $35.00, and must be paid in advance. A box dinner is also provided for each class.

    arrow The New Women's Pavilion has been designed with Family Centered Maternity Care in mind. Wooster Community Hospital would like to make your birthing experience as stress free as possible.
