  Surgical Specialties  
      Wooster Community Hospital has the ability to offer a wide variety of surgical specialties because of the highly trained Anesthesiologists and Surgeons.  
     
     
    Inpatient Rehab Unit - Our goal is to help patients get back to life, family and friends as quickly as possible.  
     
    Massotherapy and infant communication classes are also offered in our specialized programming.  
     
    The nutritional counseling program includes evaluations with a licensed dietitian; classes designed for children and adults.  
     
    Individual exercise programming allows clients to take advantage of private health and wellness training as well as health screenings with degreed and certified staff.

  arrow How to Prepare for Your Surgery  
   

  We want your surgery experience at Wooster Community Hospital to be as stress free as possible including the patient registration and pre-admission testing.  
     
  arrow The Night Before Surgery  
        Do not eat or drink anything, including water and chewing gum, after midnight on the night before.  
         
  arrow The Day Of Surgery  
        Remove fingernail polish, make-up, hairpins, piercings and jewelry before coming to the hospital.  
         
  arrow After Surgery  
        The Post-Anesthesia Care Unit is where specially trained nurses will care for you as you awaken from the anesthetic.
