Heart CT (Computed Tomography) Scan. This test is designed to specifically look at the arteries of the heart and the heart muscle. The test is performed on a 64- Slice CT Scanner.   Cardiac Rehabilitation program at Wooster Community Hospital is certified by the American Assocation of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR).

Diagnostic Testing and Procedures offered at wooster Community Hospital includes: Angio Jet System, Cardiac Stress Testing, Stress Echocardiogram, Nuclear Stress Testing, Echocardiogram, Electrocardiogram(ECG or EKG), ECP Therapy, Transesophageal Echocardiography (T.E.E.) , Holter Monitoring, Arteriograms and Venograms, Cardiac Catheterization. 1

1 Warning Signs

Warning signals of a heart attack

Uncomfortable pressure, fullness, squeezing or pain in the center of the chest lasting more than a few minutes.

Pain spreading to the shoulders, neck or arms.

Chest discomfort with lightheadedness, fainting, sweating, nausea or shortness of breath.

Less common warning signs of heart attack
Atypical chest pain, stomach or abdominal pain
Nausea or dizziness
Shortness of breath and difficulty breathing
Unexplained anxiety, weakness or fatigue
Palpitations, cold sweat or paleness

DO NOT IGNORE THESE SYMPTOMS!
