Cardiac Rehabilitation Program
The program uses exercise and education to help cardiac patients once again anjoy activities they consider improtant ot a hight quality of life.

Diagnostic Testing and Procedures offered at wooster Community Hospital includes: Angio Jet System, Cardiac Stress Testing, Stress Echocardiogram, Nuclear Stress Testing, Echocardiogram, Electrocardiogram(ECG or EKG), ECP Therapy, Transesophageal Echocardiography (T.E.E.) , Holter Monitoring, Arteriograms and Venograms, Cardiac Catheterization.

The Progressive Care Unit on the first floor offers advanced cardiac care for patients in need. It also offers a more comfortable environment for both patients and family members.

Warning signals of a heart attack

Uncomfortable pressure, fullness, squeezing or pain in the center of the chest lasting more than a few minutes.

Pain spreading to the shoulders, neck or arms.

Chest discomfort with lightheadedness, fainting, sweating, nausea or shortness of breath.

Less common warning signs of heart attack
Atypical chest pain, stomach or abdominal pain
Nausea or dizziness
Shortness of breath and difficulty breathing
Unexplained anxiety, weakness or fatigue
Palpitations, cold sweat or paleness
