Dr. Signs to speak at Lyme Disease program

Lyme Disease and the Blacklegged Tick

Denise Signs, M.D., an Infectious Disease physician, will participate on a panel of presenters for a free program that is open to the public on “Lyme Disease and the Blacklegged Tick” on Tuesday, June 19th at 7:00 p.m. at Fisher Auditorium on the OARDC campus in Wooster. The blacklegged tick was once thought to be rare in Ohio, but it has been found in 25 counties (including Wayne County). Pet owners, hunters, and outdoor enthusiasts are invited to join veterinarians and doctors for this program. Other presenters will include Dr. Glen Needham, OSU Associate Professor of Entomology and Acarolgy, and Dr. Gary Graham, OSU Extension Educator.
