Stroke and Advanced Care Planning
The Step-by-Step Stroke Support Group at Wooster Community Hospital will host the free program “Stroke and Advanced Care Planning” in the hospital auditorium on Tuesday, June 12th, from 1:00-3:00 p.m.
Anyone who is a stroke survivor or a family member or caregiver of a stroke survivor is invited to attend and hear speaker Sherri Atanasov, MSSA, LISW-S speak about Durable Power of Attorney and Living Will and the differences between the two. We’ll learn what Advanced Care Planning is, and what Ohio’s laws say about it. Join with others recovering from stroke, as well as family members of those who have been affected by stroke.
Wooster Community Hospital is certified as a Primary Stroke Center by The Joint Commission, and provides the Step-by-Step Stroke Support Group as a community service. Registration for the program is not required.
