Cat Scan or Computed Tomography (CT) of the head, chest, abdomen, spine, and vessels are acquired in a 360 degree rotation around the body.

With the aide of computer processing images are created showing organs, vessels, and body tissues with great clarity. Wooster Community Hospital uses state-of-the-art technology with our new 64 slice scanner. In addition to the high speed and quality images produced by the scanner, new cardiac studies, vessel analysis, and 3-D reconstructions can also be performed. CT Services are available, Monday through Friday until 9:00 p.m., and are available for the Emergency Department and Inpatients 24 hours a day.
