Childbirth Education
At Wooster Community Hospital, we believe each birth is unique and special. As you prepare for the upcoming birth of your baby, we invite you to participate in our series of educational programs designed to enhance your childbirth experience. The classes are taught by an expert registered nurse who is certified in childbirth education. A variety of classes have been created to offer you flexibility and convenience.
Childbirth Preparation Class
We offer a four-week childbirth preparation series. You and your support person will be introduced to all of the options available during labor and delivery. A certified nurse anesthetist and pediatrician will be guest speakers to answer your questions.
Tuesday Series: 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM

Siblings Class
A lot of things change when you bring a new baby home, especially the time devoted to the new baby. That time can be really hard for older children. When children know what to expect, they can manage better.

This technology is a valuable imaging tool that uses sound waves (and no radiation) to view images of the body.
