Dining with Diabetes
Living with diabetes can be challenging, especially when it comes to mealtimes. That's where Dining with Diabetes comes in. Dining with Diabetes is a cooking and nutrition education program provided by Ohio State University that is designed specifically for those living with diabetes and their loved ones. We strive to provide not only delicious recipes, but also informative sessions on managing your condition through proper nutrition. With Dining with Diabetes, you will:
- Watch live cooking demonstrations.
- Sample delicious food.
- Converse with both dietitians and certified diabetes educators.
- Gain fresh insights on healthy eating.
- Learn new cooking skills to manage your diabetes.
Our upcoming course is comprised of four informative sessions where you can enhance your culinary skills with the guidance of professionals. Our sessions will be held on July 10th, July 17th, July 24th, and July 31st.
These cooking demonstrations will not only expand your knowledge of healthy cooking but also equip you with techniques to apply in your home kitchen. A follow-up reunion class will also be set up at a later date.
