Yiying Kim, PA-C

Biography:

Yiying Kim, PA-C, is a certified Physician Assistant with a strong background in both surgical and outpatient care, currently practicing at Bloomington Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. She earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from A.T. Still University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh. Yiying brings diverse clinical experience, including serving in a level II trauma center where she collaborated with neurosurgeons on complex spine, cranial, and peripheral nerve surgeries, often first-assisting in the operating room. Her work frequently involved coordination with plastic surgeons on wound revisions, and she developed specialized skills in managing postoperative care, including incision management, wound infections, and delayed healing. Prior to her surgical role, Yiying provided high-volume, independent care in walk-in and urgent care settings, treating patients of all ages with a wide range of conditions. Her surgical expertise, clinical precision, and patient-centered approach make her a valued member of the Bloomington Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery team.
