Dr. Ulysses J. Magalang is a renowned expert in pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine, with a distinguished career spanning over three decades. He is a Professor of Internal Medicine and Neuroscience at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, where he also serves as the Director of the OSU Sleep Disorders Centers at East Hospital and the Brain and Spine Hospital. Dr. Magalang is board-certified in Sleep Medicine, Pulmonary Disease, Critical Care Medicine, and Internal Medicine.
Dr. Magalang earned his Doctor of Medicine degree (Cum Laude) from the University of the Philippines and completed his residency and fellowship training in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the State University of New York at Buffalo. He further specialized in sleep medicine at the University of Pennsylvania Health System.
In addition to his clinical expertise, Dr. Magalang is a prolific researcher and educator. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and book chapters, focusing on the intersection of sleep apnea, metabolic dysfunction, and cardiovascular health.
