Comprehensive CT Scan Services
With the aid of computer processing, images are created showing organs, vessels, and body tissues with great clarity. Wooster Community Hospital uses state-of-the-art technology with our high-definition HD scanner.
A CT scan is useful for diagnosing any number of conditions, including:
- Cancers, including lung cancer screening
- Cardiovascular disease
- Infectious disease
- Musculoskeletal (bone, muscle and joint) disorders
- Diseases of the bowel and colon
- Lung disorders
- Brain diseases
- Sinus and nasal problems
In addition to the high speed and quality images produced by the scanner, cardiac studies, vessel analysis, and 3D reconstructions can also be performed.
CT services are offered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at the hospital for emergency and inpatient care; however, diagnostic studies require scheduling in advance.
