This program makes for a perfect step-up from the traditional outpatient program. The IOP is less intensive than the PHP. The IOP client will attend the program 3-4 days a week for three hours a day.
Group therapy is offered from 9 am to 12 pm. Staff will work with the client to customize the program to the client’s availability and their individual needs. Individual counseling, family therapy, and follow-up with the psychiatrist can be provided as well.
This level of care provides clients with a safe and structured treatment environment without a total disruption of their daily routine. The PHP client will attend the program 5 days each week and participate in four group sessions each day.
Along with group sessions, the client will participate in individual and family counseling as well as psychiatric evaluation and medication management with our psychiatrist. PHP clients are involved in treatment generally from 9 am to 2 pm daily.
PHP is ideal for clients who want to maintain their independence in the community but require increased access to therapeutic skills, counseling, and support from mental health clinicians.
