Our Facility
Our medically based health and wellness facility is located in the HealthPoint building. It includes a spacious gym area, warm-water pool, free weight area, and an inviting large- and small-group studio designed to provide an optimal exercise and fitness experience.
Several membership levels provide access to the gym, pool, nutritional counseling, massage therapy, and numerous other services. Group classes include land and aquatic exercises appropriate for people of all skill levels. Personal training and sport-specific athletic assessment and training classes are designed for individuals, groups, and athletes of all ages and abilities.

Health & Wellness Supervisor
Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES), Aquatic Facility Operator (AFO)
Focus: Health & Wellness
Education: Bachelor’s and master’s degrees in exercise science from the University of Akron.
Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), Health & Wellness Specialist
Focus: Health & Wellness
Sub-Focus: Personal Training
Specialties: Functional training, sport-specific conditioning, rehabilitation programs, individualized adult training, small-group training
Education: Bachelor of science in exercise science from Urbana University.
Clinical Exercise Physiologist (MS, CEP, AEA)
Focus: Health & Wellness
Sub-Focus: Personal Training
Specialties: Cardiovascular conditioning
Education: Bachelor’s degree in health and exercise science from Spring Arbor University, and Master’s degree in clinical exercise science from Liberty University.
She holds certifications from the American College of Sports Medicine as a clinical exercise physiologist and a certified group exercise instructor. She also is a certified aquatic instructor through the Aquatic Exercise Association (AEA).
Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT)
Focus: Massotherapy
Specialty: She is trained in relaxation massage, deep tissue massage, myofascial release techniques, precision neuromuscular techniques, pregnancy massage, and sports massage.
Education: Graduated from the Ohio College of Massotherapy in 2009.
Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT)
Focus: Massotherapy
Education: Received training at the Cleveland Institute of Medical Massage and is licensed by the State Medical Board of Ohio.
Focus: Health & Wellness
Education: Kim graduated from the University of Akron with a bachelor of science in exercise science / exercise physiology. She is certified by the National Exercise Trainers Association (NETA) as a group exercise instructor, by the Aquatic Exercise Association (AEA), by the American Fitness Professional & Associates (AFPA) as a special populations trainer, and by the American Heart Association.
Certified Personal Trainer (CPT)

Sub-Focus: Personal Training & Group Exercise Instructor
Specialties: Functional Training, Individual Training, Small Group Training
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from the University of Akron and Master’s degree in Health Administration from Ohio University. Ayla also is a certified aquatic instructor through the Aquatic Exercise Association (AEA).
